PLACING ORDERS
How do i place an order?
Step 1
To place your order, you need first to choose a Subject for your painting for example: Family portrait, Couples portrait, Pet portrait Etc.
You can easily pick a Subject by navigating to our Gallery page and choose the most relevant Subject for your painting.
Tip: If you can't find a Subject that matches your painting idea, you can still pick a Subject that can be partially relevant and give more details in your own words at the next step.
Step 2
Upload at least 1 photo for the artist to use as a reference for your painting and continue with your order customization like for example:
MEDIUM
Which type of medium would you like your painting to be made on?
You can choose between Oil which is the most common medium to paint on a canvas or Digital, for a digital painting file.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE & PETS
How many people/pets in total would you like to include in your final painting?
PAINTING SIZE
If you choose Oil as a medium, you will also need to select the painting's preferred size.
Think about the space that you would like to hang this painting in, and how it will look in order to know what size will fit best.
Tip: If you don’t have your photos on this device, or if you are not sure about some of the customization options like framing, painting’s background or other custom option, don't worry!
You can still proceed and submit your order and we will contact you by email for assistance with completing the missing information before the artist starts to work on your painting.
Step 3
Once you select some customization options for your painting, hit the ADD TO CART button and complete the remaining details for your order like payment option and shipping address.
That's it! :) our team will handle your order from this point on and will contact you regarding the next steps.

Which Meidum type should i choose?
Moments in Paint offers multiple solutions for creating beautiful portraits or paintings.
In general, we recommend on Oil as the best medium solution, since it can provide a very high quality result to nearly each desired painting/portrait you have in mind.
When choosing a medium, the main factor that should affect your decision is purpose:
What is the purpose of your desired painting? Is it going to be a family portrait that will be displayed in your living room as a main wall art? Or perhaps you are interested in surprising your spouse with a beautiful couples portrait painting from an unforgettable moment you two had that you can place in your bedroom?
Sometimes we just want to turn a photo we took on a trip or other special occasion into a one-of-a-kind digital handmade painting that we can share online.
Once you have some thought about the purpose of your desired painting, it will be easier for you to decide if for example, an Oil medium is the best solution, or maybe a portrait made by pencil can be a better solution. Don't forget to check our gallery page to look at some paintings our artist made in different mediums.

I've seen cheaper prices on other websites, why is there a pricing difference?
When purchasing a commissioned painting, the most important factor that you should take in consideration is quality. Each artwork made by our master artists team, starts on a clean canvas and is 100% hand-made using high quality materials in a traditional creation process of layer-above-layer, that gives the painting its unique and vivid look and preserves it for many generations to come. This is a process that usually takes many days to accomplish, which means that our professional artist needs to work on your painting, in a long, detailed focus process, until it reaches the best quality possible.
If you will contact a professional artist directly for a commissioned painting order, you will probably find out that the price will be much (much) higher than the prices on Moments in Paint, due to the fact that unlike working with a single artist on a single order, we have built a global team of top artists, and negotiated exclusive bulk ordering prices for our customers in order to make this prestige art creation accessible to anyone.
DELIVERY TIME & SHIPPING
How long does it take for my painting to arrive?
Normally it takes 24 days for your painting to arrive. During this timeframe your painting will go through a traditional process of painting multiple layers while giving some drying time between each layer. We also offer a 14 days express shipping for additional cost.
